Give Up or Move On??

So my question today is give up or move on, I would say in the past 2 months I have only lost 5 pds if that, it really makes me want to give up.. i keep telling myself it is better to keep trying but i feel like what for??

I dont eat bad and barely anything, i workout 4-5 days out of the week and nothing happens... so the question is what next?? anyone have any experimental weight loss drugs they want to try??
I am sooo down to be the genine pig..

anyway sooo frustrated and having a hard time trying to move on

YOGA - The Warrior Pose


Since I have got Wii Fit I can now learn Yoga the proper way. It moniters the weight you place on your legs and makes sure you are doing it right!

The Warrior Post is by far my favorite pose, it works your hips and thighs, I really like this one its my favorite!

It makes me feel strong after I do it for a few minutes on each leg.

Wii Fit - A MUST HAVE!

So anyone who owns the Wii needs to get Wii Fit I have never had so much fun working out! You can play many games, challenge yourself all while having a blast! It takes your weight, BMI and tells you your Mii age which by the way was 37 hahahaha, im waaay out of shape! :) Anyway I will let you know if I meet my 1 month goal weight with Wii Fit this is going to be a great test!

Working Hard and not much payoff

So do you ever feel like you eat right or barely anything at all, workout on a regular basis and there is not much result?? That is sooo how i am feeling right now. I havent lost a single inch and it makes me sooo depressed! It really makes me want to give up on the whole thing. what will it take to lose some weight?? I workout on a regular basis and it seems to do nothing, im getting pretty good my endurance is up and i can work harder for the time I do workout but what for?? i feel like nothing is happening.. anyway just my little blurb about it a honestly it makes me depressed.. I read somewhere that if you are stressed it can effect your weight.. sooo the next question is how do you fix that?? I cannot really eliminate the stress in my life, I can probably deal with it better but the stress is still there.. Any thoughts??? Anyone out there??

YOGA

So have you ever tried Yoga?? My aunty has been doing it for 6 months and she looks GREAT! So i went and bought a video for beginners and tried it out.. i must say i think I am too anxious to actually relax and meditate while doing it but its a good to strech the muscles out...

now did i feel anything afterward?? Not a thing, nothing is sore and it doesnt feel like i did anything at all... sooo not sure if i did something wrong or maybe it just takes time but i will try atleast 20 times and see what happens

Replacement Shakes

I have decided to incorporate fruit shakes into my diet. I really like it and they are filling, I drink them all day long while snacking on salad, bagels etc. I enjoy drinking them and its quick easy and good for you. Cant beat that you should try it!

Making Progress

Last week I was brave enough to step on the scale! I was soooo hesitant because its just usually depressing, I was excited to find out I had lost 15 pds. YAY! So its cool to see I lost weight but I havent lost a single inch.. Isnt that weird?? I thought inches usually come off before the weight.. so I feel lighter but I dont think I look lighter.. close are not really looser.. anyway i guess i should be greatful for the 15 pds lol

Sorry Been Sooo Busy!

I have been sooo busy lately and I have not been able to keep up with my journal but I think thats ok cause no one reads this anyway! I have done pretty good not eating out as often and when i do its been a salad. I feel myself shrinking slowly and my husband says he can see it.

I wish I could see it but it doesnt matter any weight loss or shrinking is better than nothing!

Callanetics

I wanted to write a quick review about Callanetics. I have just bought this DVD and it is AWESOME! Its basic ballet and what i assume to be Yoga moves but together in a great 60 minute workout.

The first time I tried it I was in love, some of the moves are hard but most are simple and work muscles that you didnt even know you had. The streching is great. The 60 minutes flew by and I swear it only felt like 20 minutes. You are constantly relaxed and you dont feel strained at all. When I got up I was sore! Parts of my legs hurt that I have never felt before. This is a great workout and I would recommend it for anyone! I bought the first one from the 80's and I have read that its one of the best ones.

Callan Pinckney is the instructor and creator of Callanetics and she is very soft spoken and a pleasure to have as an instructor. She states in the beginning she is a 46 yr old woman and she doesnt even look it and has a GREAT body! I love this product and I think if you are looking for something to add to your workout to tone your body this is it!

I planned on doing it on my days off from the eliptical and I have found myself doing it everyday not for the results but because it makes me feel really good afterward! Awesome product BUY IT TODAY!

Been Soooo Good!

So I am way proud of myself we have been eating in every night and I havent been eating a lot at all!

I have also been snacking throughout my day so I am not soooo starving at night. I have been doing breakfast, snack, small lunch (im not that hungry then), snack, dinner, snack... I have also not been eating late which is a total miracle!

I have been rotating my eliptical with my Taebo and Im feeling pretty good! Wow sooo proud of myself now all I have to do is stick to it and maybe i can slim down... think i can do it?? would be much better if someone would join me on the adventure...

Orbitrak Elite

Ok so for Xmas I bought myself the Orbitrek Elite which is basically an elipitical but you stand more upright like riding a bike without the seat... this machine is pretty good you have a tension on it (like a stationary bike) that you turn and burn (thats what they call it!).

I like this workout and I have never sweated more in my life. The video is a little boring but I recommend you do it to know exactly what this machine is capable of and to get the best use out of it. I do a serious of levels for a few minutes then rest and then do it harder, the rest etc.

I feel my heart working at more than one level and I sweat like nobodies business. I do this for about an hour every day. I have just incorporated Taebo into my work out routine so I think every other day I will only do about 45 mintues or so. So I do recommend this product, it cost be about 240.00 and I got to test it out for 6 weeks without paying which I thought was pretty cool. So if you are interested in an eliptical and dont want to spend 1000.00 then I would suggest this product!

Taebo Boot Camp

So the other day I purchased Taebo Boot Camp and I must say it was a HARD workout. The Mission one was basic teaching you the basic taebo moves using a resistance band which really works, today I did Mission Two called Maximum Power and i about died!

This is a tough workout but I can see how you can get the results you want quickly! Billy Blanks words every muscle in your arms, shoulders, leg while tighting the stomach. I will say I do not think it is for beginners but I have done Taebo before and he has others that would be better to start with. I have used Taebo for years and I am far from pro but I know what the moves are and adding the band is 10 times harder!

I would totally recommend this to anyone looking to slim down, you get cardio and full body sculpting, my entire body hurts right now and thats good! All my muscles are tight and I know this is a workout for me to do every other day! I will stick to my eliptical on other days!

Daily Journal

So I am one day late with this one but here we go!

I woke up really early this morning in hopes to get into a different schedule and the day was pretty good.

1. Bowl of Oatmeal
2. veggan chicken sandwich for lunch
3. 2 peices of licorice
4. turkey burger for dinner with a handful of tater tots

Ok so this by far was one of the better days, didnt eat too much and it wasnt too terrible, lets pray i can continue this all week long

Finally Feeling better! Time to get back to it!

So thank God I am finally feeling better cause I can now get back to my routine. So I havent eaten the best of foods but I did work out 3 days this week, but it was really hard, i didnt realize that not working out for a week I would lose my endurance. It was really pathetic... anyway i am back and ready to start a new! I also got some Hoodia pills so we shall see if they surpress my appetite.. has anyone ever tried them??? i hear good things about them but any imput would be great!

Feeling under the weather!

Sorry guys I have missed my past 2 days of posts because me and the kids are really sick. As you can imagine the eating hasnt been great the past few days, too sick to cook and nothing sounds good. Anyway in a few days i should be feeling better and i will start the journal posts again and dont worry ill fill you in on the crap i ate during the time i was sick.

Day 2

Ok folks so day 2 started out not as great, i had to go help mom move some things so i didnt get the opportunity to work out...

what i ate

1.turkey sandwich with some cheese
2. carls jr - salad
3. chocolate shake

so once again i am plagued with the fast food and its because im sooo freckin busy there is not time to cook.. does anyone have quick meals??? and i mean quick, my family is always on the go and we need quick meal ideas help me please!

Day 1

Ok so I must say that today started out well and it always does. I work out every morning, I do the eliptical for 60 minutes, sit ups, work out my arms with a tension band, use the "leg magic" machine and im done! So about 1.5 hrs every day , every work day i mean so only 5 days a week.

Working out is not my problem! Look at the menu!

1. ate my multigrain apple crisps - 100 calories *** (the stars because its ok to eat)
2. Apple Bees (we went out for valentines day but no excuse to eat bad) Oriental Chicken Salad - salads are good but this one i know has tons of calories in the dressing
3. Appetizers of mozerella sticks, and chips with Artichoke and spinach dip - BAD BAD BAD i cleared the plate and wanted more!
4. Gosh I cannot forget the midnight stop to Cold Stone

You will see I have only really eaten 2 complete meal and the choice was bad. All the working out I did this morning well i can foget it, I ate bad all day so I wont lose a pound this week.

Ok so I can use the excuse it was Valentines Days but really this happens a lot. I dont wanta cook and theres nothing better than a fat hamburger from Farmer Boys... If I do not leave the house i eat ok but if you suggest we go out to eat im doomed!

Also I work from home and usually really really busy so cooking basically sucks!

So I have decided that from here on out I am going to tell everyone what I ate, if I exercised and how I feel about it! You are only going to get the whole truth from me and nothing but the truth! I think if I start writing this stuff down maybe we will start seeing a pattern, oh and of course if I tell you how bad I was please SLAP me back into a good lifestyle and not let the food control me! Welcome!

So I am very excited about this new blog and I hope all will join me in the venture of losing weight! I have been trying to lose weight for over a year now with little progress. I have tried diet pills, fad diets, exercise machines and nothing worked. I finally figured that maybe if I ban together with others suffering from the same problems that we can lose weight together. I have no clue if it will work but I figured its worth a try we have tried everything else right??

So please comment daily on your progress as I will do the same. Lets help each other be accountable for our weight loss and maybe a little support will help us along the way!
